I like the fact that it integrates with Homekit and you can set up automations for it and also the fact that you can choose a multitude of color combinations and patterns from the Nanoleaf app. I have not tried setting patterns myself but there are already many patterns created by other users that suited our need. My only dislike is the way the strands of lights are split. I wish it went from end to end instead of bine joined in the middle of the light strand. It is not very practical for most uses. I can see it being practical should the area of coverage be small enough that you can go all around that area. In that case being split in the center could be an advantage where you'd plug in at the center and then go right and left with the two strands but it would have been more practical having it continuous instead of split in the center.

Got a couple of these strings and hung them up in the basement for our play area. Kid loves them, and they are really fun to play around with. Can totally change the atmosphere with these, they’re bright at 100% but fully dimmable. I wish that you could join strands together for using on a larger Christmas tree but there’s plenty of length on these strands as is. Would definitely recommend.

Fun, colourful lights.
Convinced my wife to try these. We have a home full of Nanoleaf already. She was a bit sceptical, but we were both bored of the just light white LED’s we had on the tree. Well after getting them on the tree and seeing all the colours and patterns she was hooked. When they went on sale we ended up buying 2 more strings. You can have so many different patterns and colours to suit just about any mood throughout the day.

Love the lights. Connectivity issues
The lights are really cool but they keep in syncing and it’s very difficult to add any scenery to them through the app. I bought two sets and they wouldn’t pair to WiFi until I reset them multiple times and the same with syncing scenes was almost always an error message.
