Cool - but mine broke in a week
Had issues pairing one remote with 2 different control squares. Originally tried resetting the remote & changing new batteries to no avail. However, after unplugging both control squares and restarting them, they automatically paired with the remote. Support was available through email. Managed to solve the issue before needing to send them video proof. So far no issues (1 month)
I pre-ordered mine when these were first announced. Unfortunately, maybe because mine was one of the first, I had a lot of problems and kept having to hard reset it. The reset switch actually broke inside my unit, and support wasn’t helpful so I gave up with them at the time. When it did work, I found the biggest challenge in being able to figure out a way to remember what scenes I had attached to each face. A better feature would have been to ship these with labels or a wax pencil to be able to write scene names on the face. Or have e-ink displays or something that would show the currently assigned labels. Finally, it was confusing having a way to set up and assign scenes in the Nanoleaf app that were independent of what you could also assign in HomeKit. I love having an easy controller to edit my Nanoleaf settings. No phone or Alexa required! This thing does eat up batteries, though, so be sure to use rechargeable!
