Not compatible with Alexa. They aren’t even fully supported by Nanoleaf app

Been going on and on with the tech support for over 2 weeks. Basically spinning around in circle with the “have you tried restarting?” and “please update the hardware”.

Not just Alexa, the bulbs aren’t fully functioning in the Nanoleaf app itself. They aren’t working with the schedule as they don’t show up.

At least point, I have given up. My solution is to BUY smart plugs that are compatible. Highly disappointed product when the panels are amazing.

I requested refund. But never heard anything back… Honestly, I will not buy another product from Nanoleaf

Not as advertised

Works beautifully. But only with Nanoleaf app. If you want to use this with Alexa, you have to buy the specific Alexa product it works with not echo dot (any generation) but only echo 4th gen.

Also only two of my bulbs connect to Alexa the third did and then stopped. Nothing has worked. I have spent 21 days with customer service addressing this problem.

Scenes? Nope. I have canvas and it works perfectly with Alexa. I can tell it to start a scene and Alexa follows. Somehow there is no support with scenes on Alexa. Canvas still works, but no scenes on these (smart?) bulbs.

Not a well thought out product. I will gladly say otherwise on this review if and when Nanoleaf addresses and fixes these concerns. At this time it isn’t happening. My advice if you have Alexa, go with a different bulb. Amazon basics bulbs work seamlessly, I was just hoping for the brighter lumen output.

Great bulbs!

The color selection is fantastic as well as the ability to download scenes from other users. The response time is quicker and more consistent than other bulbs I’ve owned. It seems Razer Chroma intergration isn’t supported anymore through the new Razer Synapse or at least not yet. The matter over thread works incredibly well especially with Apple home kit. Very happy with purchase.

Ouch

I’ve been trying for about 3 weeks to get my new Nanoleaf 4D to work and stick to the back of my tv. Unfortunately I can’t do either one. I’ve been in contact with customer service, and while they have been great, nothing has worked. I was previously told to wait for a firmware update …. However this thing should work when it comes out of the box. Since then, I’ve tried multiple attempts to connect, reconnect, sync and etc but nothing is working. I really do want do want to send this unit back. Ouch Nanolef.
