For control with just the Nanoleaf App, only Bluetooth is required.
I received this as a replacement for a refurbished HomeKit bulb that stopped working. The Matter generation of bulbs offer deeper dimming and are said to feature the return of Adaptive Lighting as of iOS 18, but color names through Siri are much stranger than on the older HomeKit bulbs - for example, asking Siri to change the bulb to “incandescent” results in a sickly yellow that’s closer to sodium vapor.

Some trouble pairing at first and setting up in HomeKit. But once that got resolved everything is working as expected!
